DIY Outdoor Table with Bottle Opener
Who likes cleaning up bottle caps after a party? Not me.... This table has a bottle opener with magnetic cap catcher built right into it. For more details on how I did that, watch the video below. RYOBI sent me a drill press which was perfect for this application. It could be done with a hand drill but the speed and accuracy I achieved with the drill press far surpassed using a hand drill.

I primarily use this table as a buffet table or serving table. I think it would be a bit narrow as a dining table, so if you want to use it as a dining table just make it a bit wider.
MATERIALS:
(1) - 4x4 @ 10’
(2) - 2x6 @ 8’
(6) - 1x4 @ 8’
SOME TOOLS I USED:
For more awesome builds check out RYOBI Nation
Cut all materials to length
Rip 2x6's in half
Assemble short sides using pocket holes and screws
Attach long aprons to connect the 2 short sides
Measure for supports and cut to length
Attach supports with pocket screws
Attach corner braces. But don't do what I did. Make them the same thickness of the aprons so the boards for the top can rest on them. I wasn't thinking and I had to go back and fix this.
Attach bottle opener. Details on how I added the magnet cap catcher is in the video above.
I used these z clips to fasten the table top planks. You can also use pocket holes if you like.
Finish attaching the top planks and then it's done!
